Dành cho những ai chưa biết, truyện “Vân Cát Thần Nữ” thuộc thể loại truyện truyền kỳ trong văn học trung đại Việt Nam. Tác phẩm mang tinh thần nhân văn sâu sắc khi đề cao khát vọng tình yêu đôi lứa, khát khao tự do và tài năng của người phụ nữ vượt ra khỏi khuôn khổ lễ giáo phong kiến nghiêm ngặt.
