This super cool design project transforms dry technical documents into vivid visual stories! This explainer video series was created for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to simplify their incredibly complex Principles, Criteria, and Indicators (PCI).
The Challenge How do you turn a dense, academic industry handbook into a story that actually connects with people emotionally? The FSC’s PCI system is the foundation for responsible forest management, but its complex nature means it often gets misunderstood. The challenge was to convey the true meaning behind those rules, transforming thick manuals into eye-catching visual moments that grab attention in just a few short seconds.
The Creative Solution The creative team breathed life into FSC’s standards through a visually-driven video campaign. Instead of just listing dry criteria, the videos dive straight into real-world impact: one clip decodes the management framework, while another highlights the human side of certification. The result is a super relatable, easy-to-understand video series that turns complex policies into a shared global vision.
